Yesterday I felt like a spoiled princess!
Meg randomly drove us out to Riverside (California). While we were there, we picked out my ring :D

I had two rings picked out. My very first choice was out of stock online and couldn’t be located in any stores near my house or our new house, so I was pretty bummed. Then I came across my second choice, but I wasn’t able to find it in any stores and I didn’t want to order it online. When we got to the Riverside location, we browsed around and there it was, my first choice! I was so excited, we bought it and then left.

After picking up my ring, she brought us to our favorite beach, Newport Beach! It didn’t take us long to get there because it was 9 at night and a Monday :) After walking the pier and watching the water, we walked around the stores (the ones that were open) and then went back to the car. Before we left, we stopped off at my favorite fast food place since I haven’t had it since I left San Francisco!

I took my order to go and then we headed back home, at around 11:30 at night. When we got home, we got settled in and watch the new HIMYM episode. I can honestly say that these past few days have been just the best.


It feels like the honeymooning period of a relationship all over again!

My dream vacation is to travel all of Europe! Mainly Italy and Germany, but France and Ireland would be really nice to visit too :)

Besides my recent engagement, a story that makes me smile is when I received my very first package from Meg.
It was January of 2010 when I received the package. Inside the package included our fourth and fifth month anniversary cards, my 17th birthday card, a christmas card, two stuffed animals, a ton of candy, a thick stack of hand written letters, six homemade CD’s of all different types of music, a ring pop (because she had jokingly asked me to marry her with a ring pop), and a small jewlery box that held a smiley bracelet and the very first ring she gave me. After opening the box, I called her while I listened to every single CD and I cried, out of happiness of course, because all of those songs and gifts meant a lot to me and it showed me that she was THE ONE, the one I definitely see myself marrying :)

I still have every single item, minus the candy of course, but the ring pop :)
